The view from the top means a whole lot more when you have people beside you who know what it took to get there. Don’t get so caught up in climbing the mountain that you forget the power of who’s climbing with you. The connections. The belief. The people who see something in you before the rest of the world does. Because one day, you’ll look around and realize the richest part was never the view. It was who you got to share the climb with. Build something bigger than yourself. 💫 #changewithmeg #mindsetshift #growthmindset #inspiration #motivation
Palestinian American activists and authors Alana Hadid and Jenan Matari have withdrawn their children’s book on Palestinian history from Penguin Random House over disputed edits to passages on the Nakba and the October 7 escalation, which they say misrepresented and sanitised their account.⁣ ⁣ “Penguin was never actually going to allow us just to write the book we wanted to write,” said Hadid, the older sister of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, in an interview with US newspaper.⁣ ⁣ their forthcoming book 'Displacement and the Palestinian American Story' will instead be published by Palestinian-owned Interlink Books in 2027. Penguin Random House said its editing followed standard procedures and that it supported the authors’ decision to withdraw.⁣ ⁣ More on Aljazeera.com

Different stories, yet a similar feeling. Back in the summer, Outin contacted me to do a new project, giving me full creative freedom. I thought it would be cool to come up with three completely separate storylines and try to connect them all through a central theme. It ended up being one of the most challenging yet enjoyable projects I’ve ever done. Big thanks to all the friends who made this possible 🫶 #cinematicreels #cinematicshine #explorecanada #travelbc
I speak for the millions whose voices have been silenced. For those who can’t speak without risking their freedom, their families, or their lives. When I chose this path, I knew what I was standing against. But fear was never part of the agreement. I didn’t start this for recognition, approval, or a seat at anyone’s table. I started because I couldn’t live with myself knowing my people were suffering while I had the freedom to speak and chose silence. For every mother who buried her child. For every woman punished for wanting freedom. For every life stolen. For every Iranian who dreams of a country they’ve never had the chance to live freely in. I don’t know what this journey will cost me. But I know what silence has already cost my people. Till the end. No matter the cost. For my people. For the women of Iran. For the right side of history. For a free and liberated Iran. My voice is free. Until theirs are too. #javidshah #iran #womenlifefreedom #humanrights
