🇬🇧 | Como 1907’s first-ever European away match ended in a 3–2 result in favour of Feyenoord at De Kuip in Rotterdam.

Assane Diao opened the scoring for the Lariani in the 18th minute, but Feyenoord responded almost immediately, with Zechiël equalising just two minutes later. In the second half, Hadj Moussa and an own goal extended the hosts’ lead to 3–1, before Greek striker Tasos Douvikas pulled one back for Como to make it 3–2 at full time.

The evening also marked an important milestone for three Como players, with Kaiki, Jesús Rodríguez and Mattia Liberali all making their UEFA Champions League debuts.

The occasion was made all the more special by the 1,200+ Lariani who travelled to Rotterdam to show their support. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stood behind the team on this historic European night.

Attention now turns back to Serie A, with Como travelling to Florence this Sunday to face Fiorentina in the seventh matchday of the season.

Here’s the match in pictures.

Jajajajajajaja.

A recent inquest has concluded into the death of 12-year-old Mia Shay St Hilaire, who suffered a fatal allergic reaction after drinking a milkshake contaminated with hazelnut residue at a south London cafe in 2023.

Mia had a known hazelnut allergy, with the contamination linked to an unwashed blender used to prepare her drink.

Her parents are now calling for a separate food allergy management rating for businesses, arguing that existing hygiene ratings do not show how well allergens are managed.
