@iamcreesummer joined us on Threads to talk “A Different World” and more. Here are a few of our favorite moments from the Q&A ✨

Such a shame

*trigger warning for incredibly insensitive journalism (if it can even be called that). There seems to be a trend for provocative headlines in the press atm, centring around women and our attractiveness to men. You may have heard our very own Bella passionately rebutting The Telegraph article by Michael Deacon beginning,
‘Slim, beautiful women are back in fashion. Thank God for that!
After years of using 'inclusive' models to appease the woke crowd, advertisers have realised that people are attracted to attractive people’.

Then, as pictured, we have Simon Mills telling us in one beautifully crafted sentence that we should be very concerned about our clothes being inherently ’flattering’ and obviously not being repellent to or offending the very delicate sensibilities of men.

Wow! Thank goodness we’re in 2026 and this must all be farce right? Because surely these sentiments would have been a bit dicey, even in 1975?

At Snag we are not ready to turn back the clock to the dark ages. We will be wearing and creating clothes that make us happy, not because they ‘hide our flaws’, or ‘highlight our best features’ but because they are FABULOUS. We will wear whatever we darn well please and we will look incredible whilst doing it. And so free, we will look, and be, very free and comfortable and capable of independent thought and deed.

These are OUR bodies. Flesh suits that carry us through life. They are not mere accessories, fashion statements or object d’art. Back off random men. I don’t care if this is click bait to raise your engagement, this trash is deeply harmful, particularly to young people.
