Eight Nigerian Soldiers k+lled As Army Vehicle Hits Landmine Planted By terr%rists In Borno State Eight Nigerian soldiers have reportedly been k+lled after their patrol vehicle struck a landmine allegedly planted by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) militants in Borno State. The incident occurred on Saturday in Kinuba village, about 25 kilometres from Gamboru, near Nigeria’s border with Cameroon, according to defence sources who spoke to AFP on Sunday. The soldiers were reportedly inspecting anti-jihadist militia members clearing thick vegetation along a highway when their vehicle ran over the explosive device and detonated, killing all eight occupants. “All eight soldiers in the vehicle were k+lled in the explosion,” a military officer in the region said. Ibrahim Liman, a member of the militia supporting the military’s counterinsurgency operations, also confirmed the de@th toll, explaining that the expl%sive had been planted on the unpaved road and remotely triggered. “The expl%sive was planted on the dusty road and remotely detonated by a detonating cord,” Liman stated. He added that a militia member supervising the vegetation-clearing operation sustained shrapnel inj¥ries in the expl%sion. The att@ck occurred on the same day the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, visited Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, following an earlier assa¥lt on a military base that reportedly claimed the lives of 15 soldiers and five anti-jihadist militia members. ISWAP was blamed for the latest incident, as militants continue to exploit thick vegetation along highways to conceal expl%sives and ambush security personnel and road users.

I think one of the hardest things about love is accepting that something can be beautiful and still not be meant to last. I will never regret the happiness we found in each other, nor will I pretend that letting go doesn’t hurt. Maybe someday, we’ll find our way to a happiness that no longer asks us to hold on to what we can’t keep. Until then, I’ll be learning how to make peace with a goodbye my heart isn’t ready for. 🤍 #AIGenerates #Happiness #aiphotograph #BittersweetLove #Velora

Living by the motto, “Covered in confidence, dressed in temptation,” this week’s Hoochie Beauty is a celebration of individuality, femininity, and self-expression. I asked Eden a few questions about beauty, confidence, and what being a Hoochie means to her. WHAT DOES BEING A HOOCHIE MEAN TO YOU? “Most people take being called a hoochie as an insult, but me? Baby I literally soak that alllll in. Being a hoochie is expressive, it’s confidence, it’s feminine! It’s fun and my ALL time favorite, not living for OTHERS people approval. F*ck what they think.” WHEN DO YOU FEEL MOST BEAUTIFUL? “I feel my most beautiful at all times to be honest. When I look in the mirror I’m always embracing. Every curve, every stretch mark, every dimple, every scar. It all makes up who I am. When you feel your best at all times, there’s no need for validation.” WHAT MAKES YOU UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOU? “Definitely my confidence and self expression!!! most people think when I’m wearing my long nails, and I got a little skin showing that I’m doing too much but I simply take it as them not doing enough.” ⸻ BEAUTY NOTES Age: 28 From: North Carolina Occupation: Content Creator & Social Media Influencer Personal Motto: “If I got it, I’m going to flaunt it.” For Eden, beauty isn’t about seeking approval. It’s about embracing every part of yourself and having the confidence to show up exactly as you are.
