Starting my curly girl journey & I’m taking y’all with me! Need your help curl-friends!! 🥹🤞🏽 Products used in this video: @conair Curl Define Pro Hair Brush @notyourmothers - CURL TALK- •Frizz Control Sculpting Gel •Activating Mousse •Defining Curl Cream ✍️Drop the products you recommend below! Story Time: Growing up, my mom & sister @rima_joon both had curly hair while mine was just a confused wavy look. Then in 9th grade I got a perm bc I wanted curls so bad but ended up completely frying my hair 🫠 then bleached it blonde to make matters worse & eventually had to chop it all off. Fast forward to today, I’ve tried so many different products and always end up with just beach waves or some curls underneath and the top being straight…until now! Side Story: (iykyk 😂) Last year my hair got wet at a golf tournament & my lil curls started poking out a lil when one of my curl-friends ( @sojazzaye ) saw my curls and convinced me that I could bring them to life. Fast forward a year later, after trying @idaone curly brush the other day & going through all the steps Jaz & @persiabella gave me, I finallllllly see some results! 🥹😍 Defintely not curly curly yet, but I absolutely see a difference & loveee the results 🥰 The curl defining brush separated the strands while all the products really activated the curls and are bringing them life (Slowly but surely) THANK YOU ladies for all the tips and the confidence to try & get these curls pop’n 👩🏻‍🦱🥳🙌🏽I’m on day 5 and going the whole month without straightening my hair. Let’s see how “curly” I can get ➰➰😌 #curlyhair #journey #curlfriends #curlygirls #wavyhairdontcare

Words fail… The first time we saw the C1 Loco Classic, its beauty left us speechless. A shimmering base dial, finished with powdered mother-of-pearl, sits beneath a white ceramic time-telling dial and elegant blue hands. Not forgetting the open free-sprung balance wheel which adds a captivating view of the movement at work. Turn the watch over and the hand-wound in-house Calibre CW-003 brings beautifully finished bridges and boasts a six-day power reserve. The 41mm Light-catcher™ case is crafted from 904L stainless steel for its greater lustre, and the new Consort™ bracelet brings a jewellery-like finish. It’s already caught the judges’ eye, too – the C1 Loco Classic is one of six finalists in the Petite Aiguille category at the 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
Ape Index of the average V11 boulderer is +5.6cm. But what about the average V5 boulderer? Or the 8a redpointer? Is there a trend in Ape Index across the sports climbing and bouldering spectrum and what can we learn from it? This week we looked at one of the physiological attributes that’s been argued over for decades, partly as it’s very easy to measure and also because climbers at the far ends of the spectrum will swear it’s a signifcant advantage or disadvatge! Funnily enough, we analysed this one years ago, but we thought it would be interesting to check again and - specifically this time - look at variability across the 2 disciplines to see if any differences occurred, because in the early days of Lattice we had a much smaller data pool and weren’t able to break it down into statistically signifcant results across the disciplines and across the full spectrum of grades. As you can see from the graphs and stats, there IS a small trend in (increasing) Ape Index as grade increases but the effect size is very small. Were we surprised? Not really.... partly, as we’d looked at this in the past, but also because ape index is quite a ‘coarse’ biometric and more interesting research would be to look at additional factors such as torso length, leg length and shoulder-width-to-hip-width. Anyone fancy a study?! What would you like us to look at next in the data? Let us know 🤓
