🙏🏻 Please read this:
Coastal erosion is getting worse, and we can’t keep treating the symptoms alone. Protecting roads, parking lots, property, and homes requires BOTH coastal armoring and sand replenishment. This is imperative for public safety and protecting infrastructure.

Look at Baja and less-developed stretches of Mexico — you’ll often see massive, healthy beaches. Why? Their arroyos, creeks, and rivers still flow relatively naturally and deliver sediment to the coast, continuously rebuilding the shoreline.

In Southern California and Orange County, it’s the opposite. Millions of homes, roads, culverts, dams, sidewalks, golf courses, and other development upstream have locked up the land. That sediment never reaches the beach like it used to. The result: chronic sand starvation and accelerating coastal damage, especially during big swells and storms.

If coastal cities were able to place millions of cubic yards of sand on the beaches while ALSO using armoring (riprap, seawalls, etc.) where needed, we would have far better protection and wider beaches for the long term.
Natural systems need sediment. When we cut that supply off, we have to replace it artificially — and we need to do both protection and nourishment together.

One of the best things I’ve ever done is teach my brain safety in Christ. 🤍

This is the practical HOW of Romans 12:2, being transformed by the renewing of your mind.

And no, it’s not manifestation. It’s the opposite.
Manifestation says you’re the source.
Renewal says God already said it, and I’m training my mind to agree with Him.

The moment you’re saved, you’re a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). But your brain still runs old fear pathways until you renew it. That gap is why so many believers are saved but still anxious.

The practice:
✨ Catch the fearful thought
✨ Exchange it for God’s Word
✨ Meditate on that truth and feel the safety of it
✨ Repeat until it’s wired in

David pictured God as his Shepherd. Moses endured “as seeing Him who is invisible.” Fear got wired in by repetition, and truth gets wired in the same way.

You don’t have to keep living in fear. 🤍

Comment 40 to get into the next cohort.
