Real Love is Jesus.

At age 11 I begged my parents to get baptized for my birthday. Not knowing what It ment, I lived my life as a lukewarm Christian. Years later I was in and out of church, living a double life going out on Saturdays and crying my eyes out on Sunday. Full of guilt and shame I never found my true purpose and I placed my identity on the culture around me. After graduating highschool my heart led me to GCU. As a private school I was super excited to be surrounded by a Christ led community. I made so many friends and memories that had shaped me to where I am now. After looking for a home church, some friends invited me to Impact church. From then on my life changed. Impact taught me that Jesus wants your heart, not your perfection. And that having a relationship with Him and incorporating Him as the foundation of your lifestyle is true peace. My time at impact has surrounded me with the most incredible group of people, who pray for me, support me, celebrate my wins, and genuinely want the best for me. And vice versa! I’ve never met a more passionate group that is so on fire for the Lord. My decision to get baptized as an adult was the easiest decision I’ve ever made and I cannot wait to continue my journey with the Lord and serving at Impact church. I’m so appreciative of all the love and support I received and I’m so happy to be where I am with the Lord today. I want to live my life as a light that represents the heart of Christ and be someone that others can go to when trials & tribulations are at their feet. Life isn’t easy but the Lord gives us eachother to encourage, support, and spread love.
