Ayla Simonson

Prayers were answered this weekend in the boat.

God truly is amazing, the day I got my 39” it was not the best morning out fishing. The weather was windy and rainy. There were a couple spots we tried, but it wasn’t working out so we tried one last spot. We had caught a couple small ones, then boom, just one bobber down and it was my PR. So thankful for all the things that went through on this trip, even though there were some hard times. I want to give credit to God and thank @m.and.i_angling for allowing it to happen.

+ one of my biggest fights I have ever had casting was insane. From the set of the hook, thinking it was just a normal size fish, to it coming up to the boat and seeing a 35” is truly an experience I would never take for granted. It went under the boat and my rod was bent to the water. Then it shot up and out from me. It was just an amazing thrill. The moment it was in the net I was thanking the Lord for allowing me to experience that fight. The pictures really say it all.
