Beyoncé’s Message via Official Site:

“My family and I started attending St. John’s Church when I was just a little girl, maybe 10 or 11 years old. Pastor Rudy had just founded the church, and back then, it was a small congregation. But it felt like a family. There was a warmth in that church, a familiarity, a sense of belonging. It was a place where I truly felt connected to God. That’s where I really learned to sing. I learned to feel a song before even thinking about the notes. I’d sit with the melody, study it, think about the words and what they meant to me. It wasn’t just about singing something beautifully. I remember when we opened the Knowles-Roland Youth Center in 1999. We were so young and had just received our first number one single with Destiny’s Child. One of the first things we wanted to do was give back to the community that had given us so much. When I was a kid, our house was always full of children. My mom had that kind of home where everyone knew they could come if they needed a place to stay. If someone was struggling in school, getting bullied, or getting into some trouble, they knew they could come to our house.”

Order in the court! We’ve got some questionable motherhood advice to put on trial, and @momcozy just appointed me as judge.

With a little help from Momcozy’s team of experts, we’re bringing the evidence, busting bad advice, and putting real, expert-backed motherhood cheat codes on the record. When the evidence shows there are smarter, easier ways to do this whole mom thing, you know whose side I’m on.

In The Mothers vs. Outdated Advice, I’m ruling in favor of the moms. Every. Single. Time. 🫶
