If you've been following my page, you know I'm a huge Swiftie! I've been obsessed with the chorus of Alchemy, so this is my humble attempt to cover Taylor Swift! Nothing can do justice to her energy and vocals but the joy of singing along is an elixir in itself! And what better cocktail to pair with this song than one which trasmutes the humble tea into a scintillating libration! I've experimented with the bitterness of tea and Campari, tempered with a touch of orange juice.

Cosmic Love
1.5 Oz Gin
3 Oz strong brewed Jasmine tea cooled down
1/2 Oz orange juice
1/2 Oz Campari

Chill all ingredients but the last on the rocks and pour on a large ice cube. Gently pour Campari at the end along the inside edges of the glass. It will settle at the bottom and give the sunset magic hour hue.

FLORAL PARK, Long Island (WABC) — Nassau County authorities say they have uncovered multiple “ghost pharmacies” that allegedly billed Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies for expensive medications that were never provided to patients. According to Nassau County authorities, Jericho Express RX, Inc. on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park and RNJ Pharmacy, Inc. on Guy Lombardo Ave. in Freeport were operating as so-called “phantom pharmacies.” District Attorney Anne Donnelly says the businesses showed few signs of functioning as legitimate pharmacies. “In reality, anyone trying to access these businesses is met with locked doors, covered windows, empty shelves, and inconsistent business hours,” says Donnelly. “The doctor’s identity was stolen,” Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said. “and then they stole identities from patients, and then wrote prescriptions for those patients.” According to authorities, the alleged scheme benefited two suspects who each made millions of dollars before leaving the country. “They’re like, ‘Hey, here’s my name, but I’m leaving before you even catch me,’” Ryder said. According to police, the operation generated about $8 million in pharmaceutical billings and resulted in approximately $5 million in payments. Police identified the suspects as Bakhodir Mirodimov of Uzbekistan and Abdilakim Berdikulov of Kurdistan. Authorities said Mirodimov made off with $3 million in 31 days, while Berdikulov left with $5 million. “They both were issued New York State drivers licenses. They both used those drivers licenses to open up their corporation,” Ryder said. Authorities have filed felony charges against the corporations involved, officials said. The two suspects have already left the country, and Nassau County has enlisted federal assistance as the investigation continues. Officials said they are working to address what they believe is a problem that extends beyond the two storefronts and impacts taxpayers throughout the region.
