๐Ÿš” BADGE VS. BURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our deputies thought they could handle a Pilates workout. Revive Studio in Moorpark had other plans! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Letโ€™s just say our crew got a little more than they bargained for, and a few might have woken up sore the next morning! But it wasnโ€™t just about the workout. It was about stepping outside our comfort zone, trying something new, and supporting a local business in our community. A huge thank you to Revive Studio in Moorpark for welcoming our VCSO team, putting them to work, and showing our deputies that Pilates is no joke! ๐Ÿ’ช Turns out, protecting and serving takes strengthโ€ฆ but so does holding that plank! ๐Ÿ˜œ

My doctor friend is addicted to hitting people on their knees to test their reflexes. He..really gets a kick out of it. Knees are among the largest and most complex joints in the human body, connecting the thighbone, shinbone, and kneecap. They allow us to walk, run, jump, squat, and bend our legs while supporting much of our body weight. The kneecap, called the patella, protects the front of the joint and helps the thigh muscles straighten the leg more efficiently. Interestingly, babies are born with kneecaps made largely of cartilage, which gradually turns into bone as they grow. Another surprising fact is that your knees donโ€™t just bend and straighten; they also rotate slightly, especially when bent. Ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and muscles work together to keep the joint stable. Despite their impressive engineering, knees are particularly vulnerable to injuries because they regularly absorb enormous forces during movement. Evolution gave humans the ability to walk upright, but apparently decided that two complicated joints should handle most of the complaints. Like this content? Follow us for more @dadsaysjokes โค๏ธ
Playing a princess in Lost In Space was definitely a fun role. I was in charge of a planet! ( Kind of wish I had a bit more say in ours!) So much fun acting with Billy Mumy, with whom I am still friends. I must say I loved wearing a crown, carrying a sceptre and giving orders. #lostinspace #billmumy #thesoundofmusic
