Hidden deep in the mountains, surrounded by miles of dense forest, this family has created a private off-grid settlement designed to stay completely separated from the outside world.

The property is divided into two connected zones. The lower section is dedicated to vehicles, tools, and equipment, with a large concrete parking area, two steel garages, several SUVs, and dedicated storage spaces for supplies. A tall steel fence surrounds the property, while four elevated observation towers provide views over the surrounding forest.

Instead of having to cross the open ground between the two areas, the family built a covered steel passage connecting the vehicle compound directly to the residential zone.

The upper section centers around a large wooden mountain home with spacious balconies and solar panels installed on the roof. Everything needed for a more self-sufficient lifestyle is built around it — a greenhouse, vegetable gardens, an orchard, a chicken coop, and a covered area for storing firewood.

With nothing but mountains and endless forest visible in every direction, the entire property feels less like a normal home and more like a private world hidden away from civilization.

Could you actually live somewhere this remote, with everything you need inside your own property, or would you eventually miss being close to a town?

I 🤍 this big blue house!
