Have not been in the shop for close to a year. Family, life and that disgusting 4 letter word!! “Work”🤮just a few around the home projects I wanted to get done outside for the wife. Among 3/4 other things. Needed to create more height for the deck railing, the benches I made a few years ago made the railing short for the lil grandkids when they were standing up on the bench. Needed to fix that before one of those crazy grandsons went over the edge. If you see these Costco planter boxes at Costco, I can’t recommend them really. They were a quick fix for a time broke person & the one on the left fell through. Had to shovel that all up one morning before heading to work. The legs are too skinny, wobbly for the weight of soil & water that goes into them. With skinny pieces of aluminum angle iron that is suppose to hold the tray in. I’ve had to add the shelf one the bottom to strengthen it, & give it more sturdiness. Then add to the bottom of the front & back to keep the tray from falling through. The grey stain from Home Depot matches beautifully. Hopefully scraping, sanding & repainting the railings tomorrow will be the end of the outside stuff & I can work on some loooooong awaited organization projects for the garage.
