Tell me you have a Badass wife, without telling me you have a Badass wife. by @lil_truworkshop
Haven’t been in the shop playing in forever. But every time I get to use this Hongdui miter gauge it makes me smile. Hands down the best miter gauge you can buy in my opinion. Number one reason is it has detents every degree, so you can lock it in at what ever you need. The quality of the material is second to none, fine adjustment gauge is phenomenal. One of my best purchases, & it reminds of that every time I touch it and use it. If you haven’t checked one out. You should. Your welcome! by @lil_truworkshop

I’ve been asked by several people, where have you been B? “Work” seen my fair share of sun rises & sun sets. Long hours turn into long weeks, long weeks turn in long months, you get the story. 😏🤔 by @lil_truworkshop
A simple project that magnified how out of wack my life is. The stress & anxiety I had trying to race to get this simple project done was not good. I Love making my wife things so much, but so worried if I didn’t get this done I had no idea when I’d be able to get to it again. Too many hours at a job & meds probably aren’t the best of things when you’re trying to be a blessing to someone you love so much. I don’t believe in people saying you need balance. I get what they’re trying to say. There just comes times in life when there’s time you need to make a shift, cause somethings, or people just become a greater priority then what you were previously occupied with. I learned watching my grandpa work & what it meant to work, do it right, go the extra mile for things, put in the extra hours. I learned quickly the harder I worked, the more money I’d make, and the more I got noticed & appreciated. But back to back years of saying good bye to loved ones, a grandma who raised me & my dad, seem to hit home making a silly veggie basket for my gorgeous Bride. Literally stressed the freak out over not being enough for my wife, not being good enough, disappointing her, letting her down again, cause you’re trying to be this incredible financial provider, but that comes with incredible hours away from home, and trying to be a good husband/father & be there for everything else at the same time. I’m grateful I have thee most amazing understanding wife ever, & thee greatest kids & grandkids. Love the Hell out of everyone of you, and even at 2am on a job I’m thinking about all 26 of you kids & you sweetheart!! 9 more hours before I head off to work & I miss you already Babe. by @lil_truworkshop
Wife’s veggie basket. Have so many things I wanna make for my best friend & finding the time to do so is such a challenge. by @lil_truworkshop
When I grab a sander real quick for sanding some junk lumber like the 2X4’s I dig out of dumpsters for things around the house, I always grab this Ridgid cause it’s always sitting right there. It’s by no means in the category of my Festool sanders. But one thing I wish all tool brands still did was have these lighted plugs with & an image of the tool on it. @festool_usa should add this to there tools 🤞 by @lil_truworkshop
Every time you hope you can get off on time this shittin place happens! Everyone wants the money, no one wants the work that comes with it. by @lil_truworkshop
Remember why your Free. This year is a lil more so for me. Miss ya Dad! 👊 by @lil_truworkshop
Flipping through some of my pictures & this was the first time using my Festool sander that I’ve had for over a year, on this pile of junk I pulled out of a construction dumpster. I’m yet to understand the ridiculous nailing they do.. WTH???? But this whole thing cost me 10 bucks total after reclaiming a bunch of junk lumber. I hate building out door stuff, it’s such a waist of money to me. Wood just doesn’t last outside. Anyone else have that same perspective? by @lil_truworkshop
Have not been in the shop for close to a year. Family, life and that disgusting 4 letter word!! “Work”🤮just a few around the home projects I wanted to get done outside for the wife. Among 3/4 other things. Needed to create more height for the deck railing, the benches I made a few years ago made the railing short for the lil grandkids when they were standing up on the bench. Needed to fix that before one of those crazy grandsons went over the edge. If you see these Costco planter boxes at Costco, I can’t recommend them really. They were a quick fix for a time broke person & the one on the left fell through. Had to shovel that all up one morning before heading to work. The legs are too skinny, wobbly for the weight of soil & water that goes into them. With skinny pieces of aluminum angle iron that is suppose to hold the tray in. I’ve had to add the shelf one the bottom to strengthen it, & give it more sturdiness. Then add to the bottom of the front & back to keep the tray from falling through. The grey stain from Home Depot matches beautifully. Hopefully scraping, sanding & repainting the railings tomorrow will be the end of the outside stuff & I can work on some loooooong awaited organization projects for the garage. Hope everyone has a great weekend by @lil_truworkshop
