I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who made the Tresor Foundation’s “How to Run a Club” such an unforgettable experience. These past few months have been incredibly inspiring and enriching. We met amazing visionaries, activists, politicians, journalists, bookers, and passionate people from the Berlin and German club scene. It was fantastic to connect with the other participants in the Academy, sharing our thoughts, worries, dreams, and challenges in such a supportive environment. Love ya all - XoXo
Huge thanks to the Academy's initiators – Dimitri, Martin, Diana, Anastasia – and also Initiative Musik for funding the program. You’ve created a platform that goes beyond just sharing knowledge | it deepens our understanding of how crucial subcultural movements are in our society.
As someone studying cultural science, mostly focused on high-cultural streams, this internship has made it clear that I want to fully dive into the world of subculture and club culture. I want to help people understand how important these cultural movements are because Club-culture can play a significant role in fighting against right-wing extremism, homophobia, transphobia, racism and antisemitism. We need safer spaces to foster positive and supportive communities. Even thoo if I may not end up opening my own club, I'm committed to giving back everything I’ve learned over the past 10 years and making a positive impact on the scene. By the Szene for the Szene.
