She raised a chimpanzee like her own son. Years later, a horrifying 911 call would shock the nation. 😳 On February 16, 2009, a 200-pound chimpanzee named Travis brutally att*cked Charla Nash in Stamford, Connecticut. Travis had been raised by his owner, Sandra Herold, almost like a human. He wore clothes, ate at the dinner table, and was even capable of opening doors with keys. But when Travis escaped the house that day, Sandra called her friend Charla to help bring him back inside. What happened next became one of the most disturbing animal att*cks in American history. Sandra’s frantic 911 call captured her desperate attempts to save her friend. Charla miraculously survived but lost her hands, eyesight, and much of her face. In 2011, she underwent a groundbreaking full-face transplant. The tragedy remains a haunting reminder that even animals raised around humans retain their wild instincts. Do you remember hearing about this case? 👀 Follow @horrors for more 👻

every one of these photos was taken this year, normally id just post the first one but I don’t want to always only share the highlights when that’s not what real life looks like all of the time I’ve dealt with bloating for my entire adult life (and to be honest I’m not surprised with the way that I’ve treated my body over the years this isn’t a “poor me” post) but a couple of months ago I started a gut health protocol with my functional health practitioner, eating low FODMAP and dairy free and since then, the only time I’ve bloated was the first couple of days after starting creatine (which has now completely settled) for someone who has lived with painful bloating for so long, this feels like a miracle 🥹 btw I won’t be on this diet forever and we’re going to look to start phasing these foods back in at some stage, but I’m excited to see where this gut healing journey takes me because it’s not just about the bloating, it’s the energy levels, the digestion, the ability to build muscle because I’ve also been dealing with a absorption issues... so its been a lot! please also know I’m just sharing what’s working for me (and this doesn’t replace medical advice). bloating is common but it is not normal, and it is so difficult/impossoble to self-diagnose so if it’s something you’ve been dealing with like I have, I always recommend working with a professional. if you want to try it with me, my 4 week nutrition and gut reset starts tomorrow worldwide ❤️ I actually created it for myself based on the work I’ve been doing with my practitioner, but so many of you asked how I’ve been eating that I wanted to share it. it’s $35 USD (one-off payment, lifetime access) for the next 24 hours only. comment REALIGN and I’ll send you the link, or you can find more details in my bio 💛
Snap, Crackle and Stop! Breakfast cereal giant Kellogg's has stopped using rice grains in Rice Krispies and Coco Pops in the UK due to "changing weather conditions" that have disrupted supplies. Corn flour and rice flour are being used instead, a Kellogg's spokesperson said on Tuesday, adding that the updated recipes have been "carefully assessed" and the firm has taken customer feedback into consideration. Those ingredients are replacing rice grains as crops have been hit by dry weather in key producing countries in Asia, reducing harvests and driving up prices.
