I don’t remember the last time I didn’t give a special welcome to the beautiful season of summer! Welcome Summer ☀️

As a yoga teacher, we try to create experiences for our students that are either based on sequencing, potentially around the sun and moon, themes that are coming up for us personally or we are working on or even designing them around our seasons and elements of our Earth. It challenges us as teachers to be creative and come up with new ways for our students not only feel connected to the physical movement, but also the full understanding of the body within season as it’s moving, as it’s developing and how we feel most present and connected to ourselves and community. It can be rather beautiful ☀️🤍🙏

Huge thank you to @penguinroom.events for this wonderful outdoor yoga space, @lululemon Harbor East fam for their support and giveaways and of course @truechesapeake for their amazing apps and oysters! 🦪 We all stuck around after class for drinks and community, it was a fun night 🙏🙏

Join me every Thursday for Yoga by the Falls at 515pm (we also have an indoor location) @whitehallmillbaltimore in Hampden - each class I hope to partner with a new vendor, next week we have Birthday Eve Yoga on 6/27 - just $10 for yoga, join me the day before my birthday! You can Venmo @ Marissa-Walch or book online! ✌️
