Peak @male era 🤞 - There was a time when kids would spend entire afternoons outside, riding bikes around the neighborhood, playing basketball, or finding friends to hang out with. Most plans happened spontaneously, with someone simply knocking on a friend’s door or calling them from outside. Today, more childhood entertainment takes place indoors, with video games, social media, and streaming replacing some of those everyday outdoor experiences. Neighborhoods that once had groups of kids playing until the streetlights came on can feel much quieter. For many adults, those simple afternoons outside remain some of their favorite memories of growing up.
Halloween 2026 hall of fame The “I hate gay Halloween” trend has become an annual internet tradition celebrating hilariously obscure pop culture costumes. The joke dates back to at least 2023, when someone complained about attending a gay Halloween party where a guest was dressed as Lady Gaga at exactly 2 minutes and 53 seconds into her “Judas” music video. By 2024, the format had exploded, with people showing up as everything from Chappell Roan’s passenger seat to a tennis ball from Challengers. HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis Earlier this year former college football star Quinton Baker, 28, came out as gay to his girlfriend’s friend moments before getting into a sh**tout with Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) officers and using his 3-year-old son as a hostage. His story is now resurfacing as the Clark County coroner admits they can’t determine if officers or Quinton killed the child during the sh**ting. ___________________________________________________ On February 3, Quinton and his son, Kentre Baker, were fatally sh*t as the father walked towards police, holding his son as hostage. In body-camera footage, Quinton holds Kentre in his left arm with his right hand holding a g*n, pointed at the child’s chest. Kentre’s mother, Raneka Pate, said things began after she and Quinton got into an argument upon him telling her friend “that he was gay.” Raneka said Quinton beat her up and threatened to k*ll himself and their son. According to LVMPD, officers fired several rounds at Quinton. At the time, LVMPD previously stated Quinton k*lled his son, who died from two g*nshot wounds. ___________________________________________________ But now, LVMPD and the Clark County coroner are having difficulty confirming if Quinton or officers fatally sh*t the child during the standoff. The report was shared during a fact-finding review on Wednesday (October 28) at the Clark County Commission chambers. While testifying on behalf of LVMPD, Detective Brian Walter said Quinton fired his g*n four times as he fell to the ground upon officers sh**ting him. Walter said the officer who fired his weapon first was not instructed to sh**t. On body-camera footage, a lieutenant instructed another officer, who was armed with a long g*n, to sh**t Quinton. Both officers fired a total of five rounds. In body-cam footage, the lieutenant yelled, “He’s holding a kid, you idiot. Why are we sh**ting a hundred shots?” It’s also reported that the Clark County District Attorney’s office declined to prosecute the two officers. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 Facebook
