Former “#RHOP” star Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and her son, Jackson Jordan, are opening up about his private battle with colon cancer, which began when he was just 27 years old. In fall 2025, Jackson noticed blood in his stool and changes in his bowel habits but initially ignored the warning signs out of fear. “I was just kind of hoping it would go away or hoping I could do something myself to fix it without telling anybody,” he told PEOPLE. However, after experiencing extreme fatigue, significant weight loss and a near-fainting episode, his sister Skylar alerted their mother. Charrisse recalled being shocked by his appearance, saying, “He had lost a lot of weight. He was sort of lethargic and had no color at all. He looked like a ghost.” After a visit to their family physician revealed dangerously low hemoglobin levels, Jackson was hospitalized, where doctors discovered a tumor during a colonoscopy and diagnosed him with colon cancer. _______ By January 2026, doctors confirmed Jackson’s cancer had been caught early and hadn’t spread. He underwent two months of radiation and four months of #chemotherapy while continuing his modeling career. Charrisse admitted watching her son battle the disease was devastating, revealing, “Inside I was completely falling apart.” Meanwhile, Jackson leaned on his faith and #KobeBryant’s “Mamba Mentality” to stay positive. After completing treatment in August, the 28-year-old was declared cancer-free in September. _______ Now preparing for routine checkups every three months, Jackson hopes sharing his experience will encourage others, especially younger adults, to take their health seriously. “On paper, I was doing everything right. I was healthy, working out every day, particular about my diet, and then this happens. So just pay attention to your body,” he said. #Charrisse added, “If our story can give another family hope, encourage someone to recognize a warning sign sooner, or remind a mother that she is stronger than she thinks she is, then sharing something so painful will have a greater purpose.”
