Look at the clip of Mother Mary again. โœจ She shines so brightly, people look up to her, pray to her, and feel deeply moved by her presence. Yet she weeps. Perhaps she longs to be seen not as an untouchable figure on a pedestal, but as a being whose pain matters, too. Do you see the symbolism? ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Some Chosen Ones are placed so high on a pedestal that people forget they are human, too. People admire their light but fail to recognize their pain. They look up to them instead of standing beside them. This is the reminder: You can carry light and still need a helping hand. You can be strong and still need someone to show up for you. ๐Ÿค Think of figures like Mother Mary, Sinรฉad Oโ€™Connor, Princess Diana, and Michael Jackson. Their stories invite us to reflect on the difference between being admired and truly being seen.
quick reminder that this b*tch will never stop advocating for women in climbing! A community where our bodies arenโ€™t criticized, expressing sexuality isnโ€™t an avenue to lose respect, we donโ€™t suffer a threat of violence when peeing at the crag or projecting aloneโ€ฆ Is that too much to ask? I donโ€™t believe so.
