Make Your Mark in Africa: Ghana

Completed our mid-year report for the grant project that included the first distribution of sanitary pads in January. Headmaster Emmanuel shared that there has been a positive impact since the “Every Woman” initiative began. The female students no longer are missing school due to their menstruation. The school attendance has been higher in recent months. Prior to our distribution of sanitary pads, Emmanuel shared that the female students were missing more school than the male students. Emmanuel said that now there are less absences among the female students and more absences among the male students. So proud of the girls in Old Odonase!! 💕☺️
