Removing Rust & Undercoating the Chassis Today, with a speedy side quest mid day 😂💨

For those who are new here, I bought a 1986 Ford F250 to restore thinking it was in good shape… surprise, it wasn’t. Last year we focused on the cab and welding that mess. Now it’s time to get the chassis in the garage and get to work so this is the first stage. Stay tuned for more 🙃 #truckrestoration #bluecollar #FriendsofCarhartt #gifted #bloomcreator

Imagine explaining to your mom how you lost $110,000 on your birthday #ONLYinDADE

A man out celebrating at Booby Trap on the River back in August told police he brought a woman back to his Airbnb, set his jewelry down and went to bed. His brother caught her heading out the door. By then two gold chains were missing, and the arrest report puts their value at $110,000.

Investigators say prints and the club’s own cameras led them to 21-year-old Deziree Hood. The report also ties her to a second case from September, where another man says $25,400 in jewelry and money disappeared after a night that started at the same club.

Hood turned herself in this week. She’s charged with second-degree grand theft, her bond is $15,000, and she has not been convicted of anything.

The Tenderloin can’t seem to get rid of poop on the streets, a new city report found.

The annual Street and Sidewalk Maintenance Standards report, which aims to capture what a pedestrian might see on the city’s streets in a given day, found that someone walking around the Tenderloin is becoming even more likely to come across either human or animal feces. Evaluators saw feces on 81% of their Tenderloin evaluations, compared with 72% last year. They also saw more instances of feces each time.

“Feces are the most consistently worsening metric in the Tenderloin,” the report said.

Complaints to 311 bear that observation out, though less starkly: While the share of complaints about human feces remained the same citywide between fiscal years 2025 and 2026, those in the Tenderloin, which had the highest share of poop complaints of any neighborhood, increased by about two percentage points.

A lack of a historical benchmark makes it difficult to discern whether Mayor Daniel Lurie, who has made cleaning up city streets a key initiative of his administration, is delivering on that promise. A citywide survey released last week, however, found that most residents were more satisfied than they were three years ago with street cleanliness. But areas like the Mission and the Hub, which is bordered by the troubled city sectors, have complained that problems have been pushed into their neighborhoods instead.
