FLAME’S BACK I WANT BIG 🐦‍🔥 We were at my friend’s birthday party yesterday (which is why I was carrying a massive two-tier white cake with roses while wearing a corset lol that’s “the context” of my ig story) and my friend JP asked me what I had going for work for the rest of the year. He kind of framed it as “so what’s the plan, more resting and beach days?” And I said actually no binch I’m in a massive building phase now!!!! big flames back!! The look on his face told me that (like a lot of people i guess?) he didn’t know this side of me. A side I haven’t taken out to play since 2023, when I built my first business, my design studio, from the (under)ground up. I’ve been in a soft, spacious season for a while, and I started to wonder if “protecting my nervous system” and “choosing ease” had kinda become a very smart way to keep a big desire tamed?? No more. After three months off this summer, I want big again. So I wrote an essay about it: how I plan to go all in without burning my whole life down. My 12 non-negotiables for a big building season, the nervous-system way to blaze without burning out, plus the prompt I used to write them so you can build your own. Soft, but fierce.
