( prolly gon delete) Bring ur kid to work day w my daddy circa 99/2000. I was 9. (pre 9/11 so I was still in hijab daily ). Every kid got the same script but I did mine in British lol . Something happened to me at 11 and I lost her for a long time. even told myself she never existed. I became my trauma. When I say I got my whimsy back ?..I meant her. Before I was guarded, anxious, resentful, or angry. I promise to protect and uplift her up this time🫂 . 🗣️I WAS BORN ON THE COB FUCK NIGGA🗣️ we are so fucking back 🥹

Bruh how does one wrap their head around this 😩 winning the Olympia is craaazzzyyy man. I’m still here tryna let it hit me that I really did that. Ten years in this game and to finally reach the top blows my mind. It’s not that I didn’t believe in myself it’s just you never know! This is a sport of subjectivity and working in such a precise way to bring your body in on point that you just gotta rely on the work you put in and pray it all comes together on point. I’m just happy man. The stars aligned, every detail tended to and we brought that winning package and I’m proud. Ima be real with ya, starting this journey I didn’t know I’d come this far. Not that I didn’t see it for myself but like I didn’t know anything about this sport when I first hit the stage in 2017. I came in bright eyed and ready to do what needed to be done to get right with myself. I came into this journey seeking a sense of healing and empowerment. To prove to myself that I can do something that challenged me in ways I had never been challenged before. To grow as a woman, to learn about my body and mind. And along the way I found the passion and desire to take it all the way. I wasn’t someone who lived and breathed this sport before I started or even in the beginning. I grew a deep love for it along the way. The process of improving and learning what it means to become a champion. I’m so grateful for all it’s taught and brought me in these last ten years and look forward to what I’ll do going forward. 🥹🫶🏽
