WHAT A HUGE SURPRISE. 🥹 I’ve been nominated for the @europeanoutdoorfilmtour Adventurer Award, and I can hardly believe it. This award celebrates people who use the outdoors as a platform for something bigger than physical achievements. People who create impact, stand up for what matters, and use their adventures to challenge perspectives, build awareness and make the world a better place, environmentally, socially and as global citizens. After 14 months cycling across Europe and Africa and seven months touring cinemas across Germany, Austria and Switzerland with @samesun.film, this nomination feels like the most beautiful and unexpected way to close this chapter. Because for me, the journey has always been about more than the kilometres. Through my travels and films, I want to show that we are stronger than our fears, that we are more connected than we think, and that meeting people beyond borders, challenging stereotypes and seeing each other as human beings, with all our complexities, struggles and hopes, can change the way we see the world. At a time when populism, racism and dehumanisation are threatening the very foundations of our societies, building bridges is not a naive dream. It is a necessity. We need to look beyond borders, backgrounds and beliefs and remember that we are all human beings under the same sun. Not only do we owe each other respect. We depend on each other. I believe adventure can be a powerful way to make us feel that connection. To turn fear into curiosity, strangers into friends and distant places into something deeply personal. Changing the world can feel impossibly big. But we can start by changing the way we see it, the way we see each other, and the way we choose to be part of it. 🤍 To underline this, the prize money will be shared with @womenforwomen & @worldbicyclerelief — rebuilding lives & empowering women in war zones, and mobilizing people with the power of bikes. Thank you @faebs.engel for being by my side on this mission all the way! Shout out to the wonderful and strong @tamaraklink, @borgeousland & @vincentcolliard for their projects and well deserved nominations. You can vote now. Link in bio.
Happy birthday to my brother! ❤️ Thank you for always having my back, for standing by my side no matter what, and for being someone I know I can always count on. That kind of love and loyalty means more than words can explain. Wishing you nothing but health, happiness, success, and endless blessings. Love you always, my brother. Happy Birthday 🥳

From my home office. Everything is rather vintage - the skirt, the silk knitted top, the stockings and the heels. Many people ask me if I wear stockings every day. The answer is not and I think no woman does. Unless you can stay in bed all day. I do not live a life like that. Would be fun though 🙂. Stockings cost a fortune and they are so fragile! Sometimes it’s also way too hot or way too cold for them and sometimes they are just not appropriate to wear. But I do wear them often and often switch my footwear, to protect them, when I am in between events or commute. I sometimes put leggings over them to get from place A to place B. It’s just the practicality of it. But this is what I often wear in my home office, even when I see clients. Just not today! I am still on bedrest, no work, no clients , no stockings or high heels this week. But I can’t wait to start again next week! With some needed adjustments, so I don’t jeopardise my healing. My head is already filled with ideas. . . . #strümpfe #fullyfashionedstockings #vintagefashion #collants #officeoutfit
