IT’S PUB DAY!! ❀️ EAST TO EAST is officially out in the world, and I am a published author! It feels extremely surreal to say that, and honestly, I could cry. It’s been a long and arduous journey to get here, but we did it!! I’ve put every bit of my heart and soul into making this book what it is, and it’s been such a gift to watch it come to life. EAST TO EAST is about navigating life as an immigrant woman, and how those experiences shaped how I cook. I promise every single recipe in this book is something I would genuinely want to eat myself! There’s something for everyone, from snacks made for a party, to vegetables that make you want to eat more of them, to an incredible breadth of coastal seafood recipes inspired by the bays of Mumbai and the incredible diversity of ingredients I’ve found in New York. This book holds so many different parts of me, and I can’t wait for you to cook from it. In a world where women aren’t always encouraged to speak life into their dreams, I’m deeply grateful to everyone who believed in my vision and helped make this possible. You reminded me why it’s worth dreaming big and seeing those dreams through. Thank you to everyone who preordered, cheered me on, and has been part of this journey. It means more than I can say. ❀️ If you’d like to get your hands on a copy, EAST TO EAST is available today wherever books are sold. We’re officially out in the world!!

Do you keep waiting to feel motivated before you start and then wonder why you never seem to build momentum? 🧠 I’m a psychologist. And we get motivation completely backwards. We think we need to feel motivated first, then we’ll take action. But action is actually what creates the feeling. Not the other way around. One tiny action makes the next one easier. Then the next. Then the next. Open the document. Put your shoes on. Write one sentence. Send one email. So instead of asking β€œhow do I make myself feel motivated?” .. ask .. β€œwhat’s the smallest action that could start the momentum?” You don’t need to feel ready. You just need one block to topple. πŸ’› Comment MINI and I’ll send you the link to my Pocket Psychologist Mini Course where I share pocket sized tips to help you through day to day. 🧠
