L’Étape Mysuru 100K P1 🏆 + KOM 👑 Won the Open category at L’Étape Mysuru 100K and came away with the Polka Dot Climbers’ Jersey… the jersey I wanted the most. If there’s one thing I’m going to race for, it’s a climb, so I had to go for it. 😄 The plan was simple: go all-in on the climb. Ended up doing 5 W/kg for 10+ minutes, with my heart rate averaging a ridiculous 202 bpm. Managed to get over the top first, built a decent gap and went solo for a while. Eventually, a group of three caught me and we worked together for quite some time. Solid work with @albanrougon @sanjeev.sgt & Lavish Then came the sprint. Mid-sprint, I unclipped. 💀 There went the Green Jersey. The pace started dropping, though, so I had to throw in a few attacks. That eventually left three of us off the front, with the other two clearly riding close to their limits. So, for a good chunk of the race, I ended up taking some pretty long pulls to keep the gap alive. Still, I wasn’t giving up. I spent much of the final 20 km putting in long, hard pulls and trying to keep the pace high. Got to the finish with the other two and unfortunately got out-sprinted for the win, although the finish line being shortened without notice definitely made that final sprint a little… interesting. Also finished as the fastest rider in the 18–30 category, earning the White Jersey. Since I’d already won the Polka Dot Jersey and the organisers don’t repeat jerseys, the White Jersey went to the next deserving rider — my buddy @madan_lnm 🤝 91.7 km | 775 m | 36.7 km/h Really happy with how I raced this one. Went all-in when it mattered, raced aggressively, spent a lot of time off the front and, most importantly, got the jersey I came for. Polka dots secured, something which can never be bought 🔴⚪️ L’Étape Mysuru was a proper blast, the whole Tour de France-inspired experience, the jerseys, the racing on closed roads and the atmosphere made this one pretty special. 🇫🇷🚴‍♂️
🔥 Финальной точкой вечера стало выступление Redfoo и Party Rock Crew of LMFAO. Мировые хиты, знакомые с первых секунд, и зажигательное шоу на сцене Бишкек Арены. Круто видеть артистов такого уровня на новой сцене столицы. Так завершилось официальное открытие крупнейшего стадиона Центральной Азии. 🏟️✨
