You said that two weeks without seeing each other was the limit. Today it’s been four weeks since the worst nightmare of our lives began. Every step feels heavy. Pushing through the day carrying so much weight quietly inside, when the only wish is to pause the world and find a silence that doesn’t hurt. I’d stay on that ridge forever, right before everything ended, talking about a future that only made sense because you were in it. Now, nothing does, and the only relief comes in the dreams where you’re still alive, even if waking up breaks everything all over again. Looking past today is impossible. Words will never be enough. I miss you, Ida. We all do.
