Comment RECIPE and I'll send you the link to my book 🤍 Red Lentil Bread 🧡 • 1½ cups dry red lentils • ½ cup water • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp baking powder No flour. No yeast. No eggs. That's the whole list. Soak the lentils at least 2 hours — overnight is easier. Drain them properly and rinse, then blend with the ½ cup of fresh water until there's not a single lentil left in it. Grainy batter makes grainy bread. Baking powder goes in last, right before it goes in the tin. Stir it through and get it straight in the oven — it starts working immediately. 350°F, 50 minutes. Let it cool fully in the tin before you slice it or it'll crumble on you. It's dense and soft, closer to a sandwich loaf than anything airy — and it toasts brilliantly. Save this one so you've got it. 🔖 #redlentilbread #glutenfree #highprotein #flourless #easyrecipes
So in January 2024, I had to go for a meds review and found out that my blood pressure was through the roof and that I weighed 17 stone 4 lbs. 17 stone 4. That’s a loose head prop. It’s taken a long time but here we are. 5 stone 2 lbs weight loss. And I’m very fucking proud. Another stone to go. And yeah, stones and pounds, I can’t think in kg, I’m OLD. 🎉🎉🎉
