Ive been working on a custom expansion for #exceed for my own play 😁 He's mainly a close up fighter but has some very strong ranged attacks. What I like is his iron Reaver soul stealer which has 2 power and giant +1 per gauge when he lands a hit. And his exceed mode costs three and when he flips, he unlocks his ultra powerful meido Zangetsuha which is a four gauge super attack that ignores armor and then let's you cycle some cards and build up for the next turn. He might be a bit too strong or maybe he's just been getting lucky but he has been wrecking KY and Sol from Guilty Gear haha

I play exceed solo two handed, with each Deck having an active turn and a reactive turn. So on the active turn, I play a card with intention, keeping in mind gauge and distance when playing, and when the other character reacts, I just have them wild throw until they pull a legitimate attack up. I've found it's a satisfying way to play the game and also try the different characters.

I love the game and really hope I can find the Shovel Knight characters in the future! The Shovel Knight Hope pack is pretty expensive but I might just have to go for it sometime. 😁🫣 I wanna play as Shovel knight! Too bad it's like impossible to find Spectre Knight too. Out of stock in all the places 😭
