Humbled and delighted to have been awarded an Arts Council England grant for Developing my Creative Practice.

The award is for £12,000 and will include tuition and mentoring with armourer Fred Ryall and two of the UK's leading silversmiths, Miriam Hanid and Ndidi Ekubia.

It will also, crucially, allow me time to experiment, develop technical skills, and really immerse myself in the creation of metal forming on a larger scale.

I feel extremely lucky (and surprised!) to have received this award, and will make the most of this opportunity.
