She tries so hard 🥹

Of course, things will be harder for her in life because of her disability. But she isn't lacking in grit or effort at all.

I am continually impressed by this amazing girl and her zeal and enthusiasm for life. She brings so much joy into this world.

Yes, she received an amputation last year for a condition that she was born with.

Yes, she has a prosthetic leg that she can walk and run quite well with.

Yes, learning how to balance and get around on one leg is also an important skill for her to learn.

Yes, I believe she can do it and will go very far in life.

She is stronger and has gone through so much more than most people ever will.

I love her so much and can't wait to see what she will accomplish in life ❤️

Barack Obama had the crowd laughing in Ohio as he took aim at Donald Trump’s administration, questioning whether the people running the country are more concerned with their appearance than actually governing. The former president mocked the defense secretary for seemingly spending too much time looking in the mirror before delivering his larger point: These are not serious people. With the midterms approaching, Obama is making the case that Americans deserve more serious leadership in Washington. Is this the version of Obama Democrats need more of?

🪡 I’ve been wanting to stick my teeth into a challenging make for a while and THIS is it …. 5 day french couture jacket sewing with the incredibly stylish and talented @debra_sewingwithstyle 😭😍
🧵 As well as LOVING socially sewing with people (I never do it and every time I do I absolutely love it) I’m just feeling super proud right now (about to start day 3) cos I’m so so surprised at what I’ve been capable of
🧷 I’ve not been enjoying my sewing as much as usual for a few months now but I know I’ve come to a stale mate of doing the same things and not pushing myself and that big self doubt creeps in telling yourself how rubbish and incapable you are
🎉 So as well as so far producing the best seams of my life (thanks @debra_sewingwithstyle ❤️), spending time with new friends and the beautiful @ohsewthatmercedes , confirming to myself I AM making the correct adjustments when I’m doing it myself at home, soaking up knowledge and inspiration from some amazing Sewists, and hopefully coming home with the best garment I’ve ever sewn, this gorgeous course has come exactly when I needed it.
✂️ What do I always say? It’s not that deep…. But actually it kinda is 😭😂 DAY 3 RUN AT ME cos I can’t wait to see it all come together today……. Xxxx
