I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to visit Nauvoo, IL this past week. I was able to learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and of the restoration of the gospel throughout this trip.
On top of that, I was able to visit one out of the many beautiful temples in this world. Temples truly are Houses of The Lord. The spirit is so strong both inside and outside of the Temple.
After this trip, I’ve been more appreciative of prophets, both in old and modern times. The Prophet, Joseph Smith, was just as much of a prophet as any other. His great works, leadership, faithfulness, and example of enduring to the end is what makes that true.
