My first time at Playa Santana: a multi-peak beach break with some fun corners and barrels, or closeouts, on tap if that's your thing. I tried to get pitted and got demolished as usual. Short paddle out, with some duck dives if you don't time your entry right. The peak closest to the rocks with all the mansions on it is for locals only, as enforced by soggy fists. The rest of us hoi polloi (about 40 or so surfers and bodyboarders) scatter down the beach.
