One month since I quit Taekwon-Do. I thought I’d be itching to train by now. Honestly, I’m still tired. I stepped away because the environment had stopped feeling safe for me, mentally and physically. I was burnt out, and I needed space to work out what my relationship with Taekwon-Do and the Taekwon-Do community could look like again. I’ve slept a lot. The stress and ostracism is still there, and I haven’t found the energy or desire to return to my own training yet. After nearly 30 years, that feels strange. But alongside that, I’ve enjoyed having spare time again. Reading, being creative, exploring ideas and spending time with people without always being the person organising everything. And I’ve realised how much my WMA community has my back. When you’re used to being the coach and supporting everyone else, receiving that support yourself means a great deal. I’m still struggling with some of it. I’m also enjoying parts of life I hadn’t made enough room for. There’s no return date to announce. For now, I’m grateful for that room—and for the people helping me feel more like myself.
You know how sometimes the pallu just refuses to stay in place, especially when you’re busy enjoying a celebration? Here’s a little trick I use to keep it neatly secured on my arm. Try it the next time you drape a saree! And with Dhanteras around the corner, it’s time to bring out those beautiful sarees, celebrate our traditions and welcome prosperity and happiness. Wishing you all a very Happy Dhanteras! ❤️✨ Jewellery @jewelkosh Saree @kissehbydollyjain D’Coat @iambydollyjain
🙏😭 (📹: @imniceatpingpong_) Fortnite’s brand-new mini season is finally here, and it looks like the wait was absolutely worth it! Treasure Hunters officially launched on November 1, bringing a completely fresh adventure to the island. This time, Fortnite is teaming up with the legendary One Piece universe, bringing fan-favourite characters into the game. Players can explore a brand-new pirate-themed island, discover new locations, collect mysterious Sprites and enjoy a whole range of exciting surprises. The new season also introduces a smaller island designed for 80 players, making every match feel a little different. There are plenty of new cosmetics to look forward to as well, including Nico Robin and Portgas D. Ace in the mini Battle Pass. And this is only the beginning. More characters and content are expected to arrive throughout November. Fortnite has officially entered its Treasure Hunters era, and there’s no better time to jump back in and explore everything this mini season has to offer! #Fortnite
