FULL-TIME!!! Real Madrid 3- 1 Eibar!
Zidane used 4-3-3 formation which later on worked as 2-2-3-3
Where as he used new tactic here which is nothing but he pushed both Marcelo and Carvajal outside spread.
Neatly, he used to pull back Tony Kroos in defensive lines when pressure applied by opponents.
Carvajal was one of the key player during the gamr alongside with Kross and Ramos. He did handled defensive mid flank properly.
Kross and Modric were given a role to drop in attack but not together. This made a backup in both attacking and defensive field.
Whenever Modric dropped inside attacking field he used to go cross side so that field was gettinh shifterld to left hand side of the pitch. From here Kross started his magic as he provided long crosses to Carvajal who was left unkarked deep inside right wing side and build the attack.
Overall Zidane used something interesting after this break which looked better in game.
After a dominant first half, host Real Madrid clearly slowed down in the final 45 minutes. Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo were on the score sheet in the first half.
Pedro Bigas pulled one back for Eibar in the second half. Pedro Leon should have scored at least one for the visitor as well. However, Real Madrid held on towards the end to claim a 3-1 victory.
It now moves to 59 points from 28 games, just two behind leader FC Barcelona which has played the same number of matches. Eibar, on the other hand, stays 16th with 27 points from 28 outings. #laligasantander
