Bought an ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freight. The reviews were good, and i agree. Worked very well. Ive never rebuilt a carb before, so thought i would do it. Took tons of fotos, plus, rebuilding one at a time so i have an untouched carb for reference. Also cleaned and polished the intake manifold and linkage. Placed everything on the engine just for motivation.

I bought a rebuild kit at datsunparts.com and cleaned everything else. Also bought a polishing kit and used my drill press to polosh the big parts.

Did you purchase new parts for the carb rebuild or just clean everything? If purchased, what and where? Thank you, thinking about doing the same.

Those came out great! Did you use a simple green solution or something else?
