When I look at this photograph, I see a prince who has not merely witnessed history, but has himself become part of Iran’s modern history. A man who, amid the political turmoil of the Middle East, countless twists and turns, and decades of exile from his homeland, has remained steadfast in his commitment to a free Iran. Beside him, I see an Empress whose love for Iran still lives on in her heart; a mother who, throughout all these years, has endured the pain of separation from her homeland while holding on to hope for the freedom of her country. There is a profound bond between a mother and a son who, despite all the years of separation, still hold Iran close to their hearts. A love that neither exile nor the passage of time nor the fiercest political storms have been able to diminish. It is as though Iran is not merely their ancestral homeland, but an inseparable part of their very identity and soul. Happy birthday to Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.

🎃🖤 Once a goth, always a goth! I’ve always loved Halloween. Any excuse to dress up and I’m there! But here’s the funny thing… That last photo of me with the enormous black hair, dark lipstick and attitude? THAT WASN’T FANCY DRESS! 😂 That was me back in the 80s, going about my everyday business looking like I’d just stepped out of a vampire convention! 🦇 The bigger the hair, the darker the makeup, the better! Fast forward a few decades and I still love getting dressed up. Although these days I tend to save the more dramatic outfits for special occasions! Clearly I’ve never been a shrinking violet. 😂 Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃 Now tell me, were any of you goths back in the day? Or have you got some questionable 80s fashion photos hidden away? I can’t be the only one! 😂🖤 #Halloween #80sGoth #HalloweenCostume #Over60Style #onceagoth
