Also, when you are dealing in high amounts of crude oil and somehow managing it into your economy through other products too, you will be saved from any geopolitical shock and crisis to a large extent which was visible during the recent conflicts. India didn’t close any petrol pump so far, Because you are already taking in more oil than you need for the most important things.

icymi, this phrase is being talked about because of book hauls—that people keep buying books for the sake of being seen as ‘intellectuals’. it’s like “performative reading” all over again… here’s my take because i’m chronically online and i love talking about things i care about… Uhm… SO?!? as someone who has been reading for a long, long time and who recently reignited my love for writing, i’ve seen this community grow to what it is now and dare i say, keep it coming. there was a time when reading a book in public, and posting it online for the world to see was not “cool”. we were the “outcasts”. we were not even part of the “influencer world” because who would buy a BOOK just because we posted it?! NOW HERE WE ARE. in the year 2026, where people, finally, think “reading is cool”. and you know what, consume that sht. keep buying books! i would still want to believe that when people buy a book, there is that 50% chance that they will enjoy it and they will fall in love with the written word. the publishing industry thrives and you get to read, that’s a win-win situation. we’re so used to being spoon-fed with brainrot content that when we see people read, suddenly it’s a “disguise”. no. change your algorithm. follow more people who read, write, and think. then maybe, you’ll end up with a shelf full of books to read. that, my friend, is not just consumerism. it’s an investment. #bookstagram #reading #writing
