The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang To be honest, I struggled with this one. I still don’t understand most of the characters and their motivations. They contradicted themselves without explanation and made choices that, logically, shouldn’t have worked. The themes were important and the ending (in my opinion) was inevitable. I appreciate that Kuang didn’t hold back when it came to the realities of war. If you’ve read this series, what did you think? I’d love to know if there’s something I’m missing or if you can relate to my experience. #thepoppywar #rfkuang #fantasyseries #poppywar #bookreview

And sometimes it looks like ice cream in bed like last night… These past few weeks have taught me more than I ever wanted to learn. But I’m learning it anyway, one long day at a time. To everyone caring for someone they love: you matter in this too. Remember, the love doesn’t run out but you can. Rest anyway. What’s one thing helping you take care of YOU right now? Tell me below. I read every one.
