“Right now I am not livid at the women at the abortion clinics, I am not livid at the politicians who accepted bribe money or have loose financial records, and I am not even mad at either political party or organization. I am furious at the Christians who claim to be walking with the Lord and who have done nothing but spew hate and ignorance, judgement and condemnation at the unbelievers. We need to stop holding non-believers to the same moral standards that we are called to live by. We produce change by being and living out the change. Our judgement and condemnation is working in opposition to what the Lord is doing in some people's lives. Did you turn to Christ the first time some one told you that you were wrong or did you scoff at them? Are you thankful for the patience and unconditional love that sought after you in your most stubborn minutes? The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 1 Peter 3:9”
