“In one study it was shown that on average Parents will post up to 1500 photos of their child by the time they are 5 years old. This is concerning with only 22 % of parents having met everyone on their friends list assuming that their profiles are set to private and their settings are very secure. I think by now most of us realize ( or have learned the hard way ) that things posted to the internet are never truly removed or deleted. Once you post that photo of your kid online it is up for grabs for anyone to use. It can be saved, screenshotted, photoshopped, reposted, altered, used for personal gain and more. Okay, but what harm can come from a picture of my child playing at the park ?” https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2022/08/11/social-media-dangers-sharenting/ #mom #momlife #momproblems #momsofinstagram #momblogger #momboss #parenting #parentingtips #parenthood by @refiningdiamonds
If the American government were to be overthrown on the basis of corruption, which side would God use ? Would he use the righteous to do his work and cast judgement on others or would he allow the wicked to have their way and allow their actions to be judgement for the corruption? Narcissism is rapidly taking over the American church and it’s frustrating to see. People are become so desperate to make sense of this world that they are forgetting the principles laid out in Scripture. Vengeance is the Lords . As Christians we are called to live peaceably with all . We are not to tolerate ANY form of false teaching in the church. False prophets are to be expelled from the assembly. And yet there are pastors who are glorifying violence in a manner that reminds me of the Catholic crusades. Christians are using Taking matters into their own hands like Judas did as a zealot. For some reason , we elevate division and miss label it as separate from “worldly influences “ and close our church doors to the people who need it the most. You kick out children who you have failed to teach and disciple. This past year has revealed numerous false teachers ,pastors , and prophets who made false predictions, lead people astray and used their pulpits for matters of this world and not of heaven and yet we still give them respect and we don’t cast them out from amongst leadership as we are called to do. Church you are held to a higher standard and a harsher judgement because although you know the truth, you have rejected it. #refiningdiamonds #judgement #churchofamerica #politicsinthechurch #righteousness #falseteachers #twistingscripture #wrath #God #church #truth #wakeupsheep by @refiningdiamonds
“Right now I am not livid at the women at the abortion clinics, I am not livid at the politicians who accepted bribe money or have loose financial records, and I am not even mad at either political party or organization. I am furious at the Christians who claim to be walking with the Lord and who have done nothing but spew hate and ignorance, judgement and condemnation at the unbelievers. We need to stop holding non-believers to the same moral standards that we are called to live by. We produce change by being and living out the change. Our judgement and condemnation is working in opposition to what the Lord is doing in some people's lives. Did you turn to Christ the first time some one told you that you were wrong or did you scoff at them? Are you thankful for the patience and unconditional love that sought after you in your most stubborn minutes? The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 1 Peter 3:9” Link in bio for the full article . #faith #faithoverfear #wordstoliveby #patience #inhistime #condemned #justice #love #grace #scripture #bibleverse #blogger #christianblogger #christian #christianity2020 #igers #woe #heartbreak #2020 #election2020 #prolife #prochoice by @refiningdiamonds
“just because you consider yourself to be a “good” Christian girl, doesn’t mean you are a role model. Let’s go deeper. Just because you aren’t having sex, you have good grades, and obey your parents, doesn’t mean you should be a youth leader. Just because you are a popular person within your church doesn’t mean that you should be looked up too. Just because you have other parents come up to you and tell you that they wish their children were like you, doesn’t give you the immediate anointing to lead , counsel, or teach others. The biggest reason someone is define as a “role model ” is because others want to imitate their actions and lives. They want to be them.” We are going to be address how we as a church have been failing our girls and setting them up for disaster. “I asked if she was a Christian and immediately her tears stopped. A light sparked within her as she eagerly claimed that her hope is in the cross. The Spirit of Yahweh guided my tongue through the well known passages of the gloriously dressed lily and beloved sorrows of Gods Creation. She was being reminded of her worth. Continuing on she was spoken to of the provisions that were promised to us by Jesus as laid out in Scripture. We are promised trials, and heartache but we will overcome this season by the strength of God himself. The message that she was being told was that she, a heartbroken mother and daughter with nothing to offer but her heart, is cherished by her Creator. As we bowed our heads to pray, I felt the power of God reaching out in that moment of church. The car was the pew, the sky was the ceiling and the passing cars took the place of a choir. Gods creation despite the curse was ringing out the praises of its King. And in that moment we were one in the body of Jesus. Two days later, Ethan and I visited a church in our area and we noticed a searing hole in the middle where Jesus throne should have been. We left being content with being nomads in a land of idol worshipping and sickness because I trust in the power of my King to lead me where I should go to find rest. That moment with my beloved sister, restored my own soul back to completion and all three of us walked away with encouragement and conviction in our hearts.” This is an excerpt from “A Moment Predestined “ link to the site in my bio #faithoverfear #jesus #surrender #prayer #church #evangelism #compassion #brokenheart #humility #reachout #speakup #speaklife #christianity #life #igers #bloggers #christianwoman #wife #lifestory #girltalk #differencemaker by @refiningdiamonds
“Sometimes life is a great big mess and when we look around all we see is a vast, unbreakable trend of evil and depravity. No matter how hopeless our situation looks or how undefeatable it may seem, our God is still stronger than any of the forces that are in play. So, no I don’t have a great word of encouragement or a solve- all solution or quote to calm your fears. I urge you to remember the very nature of your God when He seems to be silent. Recall the depth of your own depravity and how dark your life was before salvation. Who are we to question His ways even if our requests our noble? Sometimes it takes us facing the dreaded wall of darkness and walking through the valley of the shadow of death to realize the Almighty power of Yahweh. Maybe right now, the silence of God in our country is His mercy reminding his church of who is the Leader and Great shepherd of his people. Maybe we have become so focused on what we want from God that we haven’t stop to ask God where His focus is at during this time. So take comfort my friend, that your life moments have already been planned. Take courage and stand firm upon the truth of Scripture. Learn about the character of the God you serve and don’t worship Him for his actions but worship who He is to you.” Excerpt from https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2020/06/23/job-23/ #tryingtimes #2020 #understandinggod #gospel #grace #faith #life #me #refiningdiamonds #christian #cross #prayer #love #job23 #brokenheart #blogger #proverbs31woman #honesty #girltalk #strength by @refiningdiamonds
I am a Christian and there are those reading this that are ready to write me off for sooo many reasons however before you do please hear me out. Yes, I live my life according to biblical principles and yes give me the chance and I will gladly tell you about the gospel and probably invite you to my church. With that said, No, I do not live to condemn others, No, I do not have all the answers and am rather just as confused as you at times, No, I won’t hide the truth from you however ugly it may be. I am not demanding respect because I am right. I am not forcing you to listening because you are wrong. I want to touch your heart with beauty and grace. I want to comfort your tears by the instructions that have been given through divine revelation. I want to show you the power of my GOD working in the world around us through the lives and eyes of the people you walk by everyday. “Remember to end your sentence with
But God. The contentment is an illustration of the trust we have in the rescue that is coming for us ! We are content in this life because we know that this is not all there is
.. I am ok right now with the residing pain in my heart because I know His love is still greater than that. I am ok right now with the loneliness that invades my quiet moments because I know there is a plan greater than my own. I am ok with the tears that water my bed and bring refreshment to the scars on my heart because I know that I am friends with the Healer. I am content right now not because I have accepted my circumstances but rather because my hope does not depend on the circumstances. The truth is that life sucks. Spiritual warfare is real. Pain is always lurking in the shadows. But I am content right now because I know that Jesus is here in the midst of my life. He has invaded the dark moments. He has dried the tears, every night with the morning rays of light. He reminds us that he will stay awake in the night as we pray when all of our friends sleep. “ Read the full post at https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2020/05/03/come-on-guys-dont-give-up/ #refiningdiamonds #staystrong #keepgoing #endurance #life #godisincontrol #cry #letgo #surrender #me #igers #blogger #beach #thoughtoftheday #beauty #bestillmyheart #contentment by @refiningdiamonds
“I’m seeing so many posts and comments filled with numbers, news articles, and predictions that are claimed to come from a sound biblical perspective. If you are correct than your facts should be confirmation to the scripture you have read and not the other way around. For we know “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in all righteousness.” ( 2 Tim 3:16) If you want to lead people to truth instead of misinformation , lead them to Scripture and away from all other opinions including your own.” Read more at https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2020/04/07/dear-facebook/ #socialmedia #biblicaltruth #girl #responsibility #refiningdiamonds #truth #source #life #showlove #speaklife #unity #understanding by @refiningdiamonds
“The world is twisted messed up and wrong and yet I’m told “Do not be afraid.” There’s marches and protests and threats of riots been talked about as the election draws near and people are pushing their own agendas for what they believe to be right or what they feel will make them comfortable. Seems like truth, morality and ethics are being thrown right out the window and anybody that speaks the truth is being threatened with silence and persecution and yet God told you to not be afraid. Whenever I see the act of God or his hand moving among the people I am tempted to be scared because I want to b afraid of the retaliation from the opposite side and yet still God says “Do not be afraid, fear not for I am the Lord your God I am with you.” We were given the gift of Emmanuel ,we were told that our God is with us. Out of every other religion ever created by man no one, absolutely no one could fathom why a God would leave the safety and security of perfection to be among a world of chaos and evil. No human could write a story of unconditional love because they have understood that we don’t deserve it and it goes against all logic and yet that is the story that Christ wrote for us.” Full post here at https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2020/04/06/responding-to-a-world-of-fear/ #fear #fearless #refuge #2020 #girl #honestyhour #godspromises #refining #refiningdiamonds #love #godwithus #chaos #brokenplans #life #me #covid_19 #comfort #together by @refiningdiamonds
“Jesus, give me freedom from this cast Where is my peace, my joy, my salvation? God you promise hope i’m left with complications But I am shattered beyond comparison The pain of a broken heart, torn and forlorn Breaks the will of the strongest warrior Once upon a time this mask it wasn’t me But those I loved stole my innocence and identity This mask is really the truth of my past Used to protect my future, and hopefully me I am tired, I’m angry my thoughts are not my own my heart is wired to refuse the love you have for me alone My mask is my strength as I serve your people Day and night with an obligation I’m incapable of sustaining but I’m fine Without the mask, I’m a kid being yelled at Without the mask, my scars can be seen I’m weak, been used, thrown aside and bruised Without this mask, I have nothing. God I refuse To be weak that’s not what I choose I know you’ve been begging me to ask You for strength because on my own I have failed you in this task Lord, I beg you for a sign Not because I lack faith But because I have the faith To see you work in time” Full post at https://refiningdiamonds.art.blog/2020/01/12/love-has-spoken/ #lovehasspoken #love #redemption #spokenword #poetry #original #igers #artistsoninstagram #refining #refiningdiamonds #beautiful #transformation #girl by @refiningdiamonds
