#AngelaRye is catching heat online after a public exchange with content creator #BrandiMcGill sparked a debate over elitism in political conversations. The controversy began after Brandi, known online as BrandiTheeMilennialManager, weighed in on Rye's October criticism of former President Barack Obama. Rye later appeared to respond to Brandi and other critics, questioning their political experience. "You never worked on The Hill, you didn't work in an administration, you ain't even worked in city hall," Rye said. She continued, "I'd invite you to get beyond your experience, and I'm not telling you to shut up and dribble. I'm not telling you to shut up and do your corporate job or whatever it is that you do...but I am saying understand that there's range; some of y'all are lacking it." Her remarks have since sparked backlash, with critics accusing Rye of suggesting that people without government experience or formal political credentials are less qualified to speak on political issues. Brandi also fired back in a heated response video, adding more fuel to the controversy. Now, the exchange has ignited a larger debate over political gatekeeping and whether professional credentials should determine whose voices deserve to be heard. Starting the day with a double peace sign and a duck face, because why choose one when you can do both? 😂✌️ I was actually just about to do my morning workout but then realized: taking cute mirror selfies in my bright blue set definitely counts as cardio, right? 😅💪 Honestly, these little moments in my tiny apartment (feat. my plant, who’s thriving waaaay more than I am lately) give me so much good energy! Who else feels instantly more sporty when their outfit matches? Or is that just me being a little extra today? 🙈 Stay positive and don’t forget to stretch – both physically and emotionally! 💙🌿🚀 #morningvibes #workoutfromhome #blueonblue #selflove #gapyearlife #positiveenergy #hannovergirl
