The mother, Nivedya, gave a statement saying that she wanted to build a career in modelling, wanted to pursue further studies and
live an independent life, but felt that her children were preventing her from achieving these aspirations.

She killed her children because she thought it would hinder her from doing so.

She also said that she could not achieve her dreams because she had to look after the children. However, the police have not fully believed her claims.

The children, identified as Jennifer Juliet (5) and Robin Christopher (3), were found dead in a water tank inside the bathroom of their rented home on September 29, 2026. Initially, the deaths were suspected to be accidental.

However, after doubts were raised about the circumstances, police questioned the mother, who allegedly confessed to drowning both children.

Reports indicate that family disputes and other issues are being considered as part of the investigation.

The accused was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. The investigation is ongoing.

The deaths of two innocent children have left their family and the community devastated. The case also raises painful questions about child safety and the responsibility adults have towards the children who depend on them.

Japan clinics with @daddarioandco.asia are a wrap!
I can’t put into words how meaningful getting to meet and chat with everyone was for me. I collected so many sweet gifts and letters and that I will cherish forever. My heart feels so warm and I feel so very grateful to have such heartfelt, sincere people at these events.
Like I said in my clinics, although I am an anxious person when it comes to performing, a big part of what has made it enjoyable for me is getting to see joy on people’s faces and get to encourage others around me to continue creating and not give up on their aspirations.
The world wants you to be fatigued and succumb to negativity, but when we have outlets to express ourselves and when we can take care of each other through community and meaningful interactions, it becomes all the more bearable.
For everyone I met at these clinics and shows- the inspiration has been mutual. 🖤
