Happy #NationalComingOutDay!
This is the first National Coming Out Day that I’m living my life proudly and unapologetically out, and I can’t express what an amazing feeling it is.
I’ve seen posts for years of celebration and acceptance on days like this and always felt jealousy and a longing to love myself fully and be loved as the young gay man that I am. So, getting to post this, to celebrate this, and to be surrounded by love is an indescribably beautiful and profound thing. Thank you to everyone that has loved and supported me through this journey, and shown me that there’s nothing wrong with who I am.
To anyone struggling with finding themselves, self-acceptance, or the coming out process, just know that you are loved, you are amazing, it truly does get better, and you WILL emerge a much stronger and more amazing individual. And if you ever need an ally, a friend, or someone to confide in, I am always here for you.
