As a father raising a daughter, when I heard Kennedy Beasley’s story and learned that her financial assistance had unexpectedly been pulled during her final year of college, I knew we had to do something. Through the generosity of our Take Action community, we were able to help Kennedy continue her education. But after sitting down with her and hearing her heart, her tenacity, and her determination, I knew we wanted to do more. We surprised her with an additional $2,500 scholarship, because I believe in investing in the next generation. Financial hardship should never be the reason someone has to give up on their purpose. This is why we TAKE ACTION. We don’t just talk about making a difference. We make one. Watch the full interview on KeionHendersonTV on YouTube. Want to be part of the work we’re doing?
