You know what they say. Golf is most fun when playing with someone who just isn’t quite as good as you. So cheers for being that guy @_oli.french

How I shop my clothes vs How I style them

I’ve spent the last 11 years building things I didn’t know how to build yet.

I grew up in a family where if you didn’t know how to do something, you figured it out. That mindset took me from starting @thesaltydonut out of a vintage camper to building a company across the country.

The one problem I could not solve for years was forecasting. One shop would sell out by 10 AM while another threw trays away at close, because everybody was guessing. There was no tool out there that worked the way our business works. So I mapped out exactly what we needed and worked with a developer to build it using @microsoft

Today every shop plans production with it. Better decisions, less waste, happier guests.

You don’t have to know how to build something to know it should exist. You just have to know the problem, believe there is a better way, and find the right people and tools to help you build it.

You’re capable of building more than you think. What’s a leap of faith you took before you had it all figured out? #MicrosoftPartner

I’m grown up!!! I have grandchildren now, and somehow they keep reminding me that growing older doesn’t mean growing tired of wonder.

They pull me back into the little things: laughing until my stomach hurts, asking questions, making a mess, finding joy right in the middle of an ordinary day. They remind me that life is still happening, still beautiful, still full of firsts.

I’m not trying to be young again. I’m learning to stay open, playful, and present in the life I have now. That’s the gift of being their Mimi: I get to love them, guide them, and let their little hearts remind mine how to feel wonder again.
