After fans began questioning whether longtime friends and supermodels Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel had a falling out, Deuxmoi shared the speculation, including screenshots of an alleged now deleted Instagram comment in which Joan appeared to confirm the two were no longer friends.

Shortly after our post, we received information suggesting that Tom Brady could be at the center of their alleged falling out.

According to one tip, Joan and Tom allegedly dated on and off for approximately a year. During that time, Candice reportedly expressed concern about the relationship out of respect for Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, and cautioned Joan to be careful. The tipster claims that after Joan and Tom’s relationship ended, Candice became romantically involved with Brady herself.

If you’re an avid listener of the Deux/U podcast, you might remember that back in July, we shared a tip alleging that Brady and Swanepoel were romantically involved. Following the episode, multiple additional sources corroborated the information. We also heard that their relationship reportedly ended following Brady’s alleged hookup with Alix Earle at Michael Rubin’s White Party.

To be clear, while we previously heard about Candice and Tom from several sources, this is the first we’re hearing of any alleged romantic involvement between Joan and Tom.

Whether Brady actually played a role in the friendship fallout remains unconfirmed, but the new information could offer some insight into what happened between the once close friends.
