Hey y’all🥰 happy Saturday!
So God can speak to us through so many avenues. And for the longest I didn’t know this; I’m sure some of you have felt like this too. I thought I had to hear Him in a particular way. Big, booming voice in my ear saying “My child, do this or do that” and alla that. I mean He defo can do this but that’s not the point. The point is because of this far fetched narrative, we feel as though if we don’t hear God like this, we’re distant from Him. The devil is a L I A R. Lemme not even dwell on the loser too much cos he “dozen wort it” as my dad would say😂 I’m just here to say that God’s voice is all around us, we just need to be aware and sensitive to this and ensure that when we do hear Him speak, we’re ready to respond to whatever He asks.
You’re not too young, or too old, or ‘un-spiritual’ enough to hear God speak to you.
The boy Samuel in the Bible is a good example of this (you can read more about his encounter in 1 Samuel 1:2-11).
