The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are so close to India that we couldn’t miss out on visiting and we are so happy we did! We spent the week on Havelock Island and got to enjoy beautiful beaches 🏝, scuba diving 🤿, and great relaxation!

The highlight was having the most ideal conditions for seeing the Milky Way from the beautiful @jalakara resort. It’s an experience we will never forget 🤩

The Jalakara Resort has been our favorite stay till date and this is mainly because of all of the sustainable practices they have implemented on their properly! 🙌

🌱They grow a lot of the food they cook with on their property - farm to table!
🌱They have a rain water retention system to help minimize their water impacts
🌱They’ve minimized all single use materials for your stay!

They are a unique boutique hotel only open for part of the near and only have 6 or so rooms on their property, so we highly recommend looking up availability and booking your trip accordingly! It’s absolutely worth the visit ❤️
